Effective immediately, AALC has made the decision to suspend SL week activities until further notice, including the Wii Bowling Tournament and Spelling Bee Competition, because of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Your scores to date will be saved until we resume competition. AALC will continue to monitor the situation and alert teams of the new timeline for the Wii Tournament and BEE Competition
Supportive Living Facilities are filled with individuals who have lived interesting and extraordinary lives. AALC wants to capture their life stories to share and help preserve their memories for future generations. This video project will help us gather these great (and possibly untold) stories! Before getting started, remember that each video you take will be different as they can choose to share whatever they feel was The Time of Their Lives. When you’re done, share the videos with the family and/or play them for your residents at a special Time of Your Life viewing party! Regardless of how you choose to share the videos, capturing these one-of-a-kind stories will help preserve their memories for future generations.
We’re excited to see what you can come up with and look forward to sharing your stories and adventures with others.
See our Toolkit for helpful suggestions!
(Note - videos can be no longer than 3 minutes!)
When you’re done, submit the finished video to AALC where we will then display it on our website and also show it at the Statewide finals for Wii Bowling and Spelling Bee!
