Effective immediately, AALC has made the decision to suspend SL week activities until further notice, including the Wii Bowling Tournament and Spelling Bee Competition, because of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Your scores to date will be saved until we resume competition. AALC will continue to monitor the situation and alert teams of the new timeline for the Wii Tournament and BEE Competition

2020 Wii Bowling Competition

In what has now become a favorite staple of our Supportive Living activities, Wii Bowling returns for its eleventh consecutive year. This fun filled event brings out the competitive nature of our residents. This year’s Supportive Living Week theme is The Time of Your Life, which we are certain you will have by signing up and putting together a team to participate!

The 11th Annual Wii Bowling Tournament will be played tournament style with teams bowling against each other virtually over the course of eight weeks. Teams will bowl two games a week starting in March through April and the top four teams will come to Springfield for the Final Four Championship, which will take place on June 2 and 3, 2020.

Once again, we expect between 80 to 90 teams to register for the tournament. All will be vying to dethrone our 2019 champions, the Bowling Brooks. After finishing in second place in 2018, the Bowling Brooks were determined to take home the title and that’s just what they did in 2019.
